As the start of the 2011 NBA Playoffs looms

As the start of the 2011 NBA Playoffs looms about 24 hours away for the Mavericks, the speculation
about what kind of rotation head coach Rick Carlisle might use against Portland is well underway.
For most of the year, Dallas has been a pretty deep team and their bench has ranked as one of the
highest-scoring second units in the Association for much of the 2010-11 campaign. But as anyone who
has ever watched much of the NBA Playoffs knows, for the most part, bench rotations shorten once
the postseason begins. Most teams roll with seven or eight-man rotations but there are some teams
that might even play nine Christian Dior Sunglasses. How many will Carlisle go with? That's tough to say but here's a look at
how it might shake out.
STARTERS
PG-Jason Kidd
Forget all the talk about him being in his late 30s, Kidd looks ready to roll for what could be one
of his last shots at an NBA title. Yes, he is 38 but there have been very few if any real instances
where the ex-Cal Golden Bear truly showed his age this year Oakley Sunglasses Cheap. Sure, he did get a week off late in
the regular season but Carlisle did that to make sure J-Kidd is ready to go once the second season
starts. He can still run the offense with an incredible amount of precision and still has the
vision to make that incredible pass to an open teammate. Kidd can also grab some boards and his
shooting is also something that must not be taken lightly. He is the fuel in the Mavs' offense and
if he plays close to the level he showed all year Arnette Sunglasses, this might be a long playoff run for the 2010-11
Mavericks.
